Responsibilities: • Overseeing the tax department and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. • Preparing and reviewing tax returns, reports, and other tax documents. • Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profits. • Providing guidance on tax implications of business decisions and transactions. • Coordinating audits by various taxation authorities and managing tax disputes. • Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensuring that the company is in compliance. • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to provide tax advice and planning. • Training and mentoring junior tax staff. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification is required. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field. • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
